Tomorrow, June 1, 2023, the Western Regional Directorate of the National Youth Authority (NYA) will embark on a 1-day public sensitization program at the Ghana Health Education and Initiative (GHEI) Community Center, Sefwi Humjibre.

The sensitization program, dubbed, Public Health, is intended to enhance education on key reproductive health issues and curtail the increasing number of teenage pregnancy particularly within the Bibiani Anwhiaso Bekwai municipality and its environs.

Gracing the occasion are the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani Anwhiaso Bekwai, Hon. Paul Andoh, CEO of Rutab Creation & Bridals, Miss Ruth Akosua Mintah, Mr. Enock Nkrumah, Education and Programs Manager at the GHEI.

Also at the event will be the presence of Madam Gloria Williams, Girl Child Coordinator at the municipality and Madam Esther Oppong, a Public Health Nurse at the Sefwi Humjibre Health Center.

The National Youth Authority will continue to provide the needed orientation as is within the confines of its obligation to enhance the well-being of youths in the Western North Region.
